1 John 3:21-24 (New International Version)

I am at my best when all the kids I see are smiling at me…the smiles I see brings out the parent in me… my child is gone, and still held tight in my heart, And I know I need to trust Jesus’s WoRd like the little Children I see:)

Matthew 18:1-9 

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven

 ¹At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” ²He called a little child and had him stand among them. ³And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. ⁴Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ⁵“And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. ⁶But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. ⁷“Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! ⁸If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. ⁹And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. When I look in the mirror do I like what I see? when bad things are happening all around me can I stop to pray so I will not regret what I say? more importantly did I do my best today so I can Love life tomorrow?  Then then when I look in the mirror I know it is His WoRd that works better today as I seek to find a reflection in the mirror:)

1 Corinthians 13

Love

 ¹If I speak in the tongues^[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. ²If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. ³If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,^[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.

 ⁴Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ⁵It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. ⁶Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ⁷It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

 ⁸Love never fails. Final Instructions

And I know i am more than the self pity of missing my Daughter, my team mate, my friend, I miss her touch, her smile, The way she let me hold her over my head. I miss her weight upon my shoulders,,,,
,I miss the face of my little girl, And i know i can not see through the door, but I can hope for so much more.  

John 14

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

 1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God^[a]; trust also in me. 2In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going.”   

And I know it is ok to miss my Daughter my team mate and friend, And then I need to ask God to relieve me of self pity… Then and only then I will know “pity in self” is to drive me out to do something different…. something more….driven out from self to do things different today!  

“God, I offer myself to Thee–to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life. May I do Thy will always!” Amen

And I know what God, the God of Jacob would have me do today. That is what I need to find is in my heart.
What I get to do today amazes me when I follow my heart and His WoRd 🙂

Love

 ⁹Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. ¹⁰Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. ¹¹Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. ¹²Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 

And I know I did the best that I could do! today the best I can do is nothing! nothing compared to what I get to do through Him, with Him, in Him. His name is Holy, One in the Holy spirit, as I do the best I can to seek a power greater than myself:) Lynzay would say” Wish Dream DO!” I miss you Zayzay today most every moment every hour of every day!  And I know Lynzay would say “its ok Daddy” because, She knew I did the best I could 🙂
